Evalisa (1999)
It is collection of five pictures. They was painted separately after the same photograph. Repeating shows the unpossibility to capture expression. Paintings are originals and copy in the same time.
Inspiration to that concept was famous Mona Lisa. The painting is known for many copies around the world. Because I should paint infinite amount of portrait I ask her to say any number and it determined the number of my paintings.
